From a young age, I was drawn to the magic of music and the captivating world of cinema. Whether it was the rhythm of a catchy tune or the emotional impact of a film scene, these art forms resonated with me deeply. Simultaneously, I discovered my love for writing—expressing thoughts, emotions, and stories through words. Little did I know that these seemingly separate interests would eventually converge into something beautiful.

As I grew older, I found myself to be more and more connected with music and movies. For instance, my obsession with Billy Joel has provided a soundtrack to my life and played a pivotal role in shaping my identity and passions. I "met" Joel in my junior year of high school. Once I stumbled upon his timeless tunes, he became a constant companion through the ups and downs of life. "Moving Out" became my anthem when I moved back to India halfway through high school. The lyrics deeply resonated with me as I started a life anew. Amid the stress of adjusting to a new country and culture, this song was my refuge. Billy's tunes took me back to running the Loveland Bike Trail, and "Piano Man" lyrics made me wish for one more team dinner at Chilis. "Uptown Girl" and "We Didn't Start the Fire" provided the soundtrack to my celebrations with my sister on her birthday. Eventually, the idea struck me: Why not combine my passions? Why not create a space where I could explore both music and movies through the lens of a writer?

And so, my blog was born—a digital haven where melodies intertwine with film reels, where I dissect albums track by track and analyze cinematic masterpieces. Here, I pour my heart into reviews, reflections, and recommendations. The thrill of sharing my insights with fellow enthusiasts fuels my dedication. It’s a journey of discovery, both for me and my readers.​

​Looking back, I wonder why I didn’t embark on this adventure sooner. Perhaps life’s distractions held me back, or maybe I needed time to gather my thoughts. Regardless, I’m grateful for the present moment. As I hit “publish” on my first post, I realize that this fusion of music, movies, and writing is my truest expression.
